Celebrating the Power of Statistics!
Dear Readers,
RLSMCIS celebrated World Statistics Day with enthusiasm and creativity, engaging students from Classes 1 to 11 in various activities.
Class 1-3: Doodle Google Event
Our younger students from Classes 1 to 3 participated in a Doodle Google event, where they were asked to take any shape and create as many figures as possible using it. This activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Class 4-8: File Management and Statistical Dress
Students from Classes 4 to 8 participated in a task that involved grouping files and creating dresses using paper and chart paper. Additionally, one student from each class wore a dress made from statistical symbols over their uniform and presented the idea behind their creative attire. This activity helped students learn about statistics in a fun and interactive way.
Class 9 and 11: Poster Making Competition
Students from Classes 9 and 11 participated in a poster making competition on statistical surveys. This activity helped students develop their research skills, critical thinking, and creativity while learning about statistical concepts.
Outcome of the Celebration
Our World Statistics Day celebration was a huge success, achieving its objective of promoting statistical awareness and literacy among our students. We’re proud of our students for their enthusiastic participation and creative expressions!
