WORLD POPULATION DAY

RLSMCIS observed World Population Day by dedicating an entire week to raising awareness about population-related issues. From July 24 to July 28, 2024, our students participated in various activities, including a special assembly.

Special Assembly

The special assembly was a thought-provoking event that focused on the following topics:

Class-wise Assembly Topics

1. Class 1-2: Importance of Family Planning

2. Class 3-4: Population Growth and Its Effects

3. Class 5-6: Role of Education in Population Control

Student Participation and Awareness

Our students actively participated in the assembly, delivering presentations, reciting poems, and performing skits. The event helped raise awareness about the importance of population control, sustainable development, and the role of education in shaping the future.

Debate Collaboration with Rotary Club

In collaboration with the Rotary Club, our students engaged in a thought-provoking debate on the topic “Population: Asset or Liability?” This debate encouraged critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork.

A Week-Long Celebration

Throughout the week, our students engaged in various activities, including poster-making, essay-writing, and debates. These activities encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Conclusion
