SCHOOL ELECTION

Date – October, 2024

Dear Readers,

RLSMCIS recently conducted a school election, providing students with a unique opportunity to exercise their democratic rights and learn about the importance of voting. The election was a resounding success, with students from Classes 4 to 12 participating enthusiastically in the voting process.

Student Leadership Roles

The election saw students voting for their preferred candidates for various leadership roles, including School Captain, Vice-Captain, Cultural Minister, Head Girl, and Head Boy. This exercise not only taught students about the power of voting but also encouraged them to think critically and make informed decisions.

Innovative Online Voting System

In a remarkable display of technical expertise, our students Ojas Khandelwal and Anvesha Agrahari from Class 11 developed a software for online voting under the guidance of our IT Head, Alok Ojha Sir. This innovative system ensured a smooth and efficient voting process, allowing students to cast their votes easily and securely.

Civic Engagement and Leadership Development

The school election was designed to foster civic engagement, leadership development, and a sense of responsibility among our students. By participating in the democratic process, students gained valuable insights into the importance of voting, leadership, and teamwork.

We are proud of our students for their active participation in the school election and for demonstrating their commitment to democratic values. We congratulate the newly elected student leaders and look forward to their contributions to the school community.
