RLSMCIS participated in the basketball meet championship, a CBSE-recognized event affiliated with the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The event took place from September 9, 2004, to September 13, 2004, at Shakun Vidya Niketan in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, for the under-19 category.
