A TYPICAL DAY AT “CURIOUS CUBS”
At Cis toddlers are engaged with active and passive way of learning:-
After learning corner we start aur class with Language and literacy where students learn to new things by connecting the topic with flash cards or audio visual, then they develop themselves by doing some activity or by listening story and finally they practise the same by solving worksheet or writing on copy or slate.
In this students develop their concentration, alertness, confidence etc
LEARNING CORNERS
A “free learning corner” refers to a dedicated space where child can satisfy himself /herself and involve in the corners where he/she feel happy, satisfied and access educational materials and resources completely and do various activities and learn new skills or subjects
Manipulative
In this corner the children develop their challenges of solving puzzles. Students develop Logical thinking, Confidence
Readiness
This is a concer where students learn to find similar alphabets, words etc and learn to develop Focus, Concentration and Eye-hand coordination
Creative
It is a corner where child freely does his/her on creativity using fork 🍴 making flowers etc and develop imagination, self-expression and confidence.
Exploration
In this corner students learn to explore different things - for example while walking on sandpaper students are able to feel the texture and by this they explore more by searching same type of texture etc and develop physical skills like motor coordination and social-emotional skills.
Mindful+
Mindful means being aware of something, or paying close attention to it.
Mindful breathing
Focus on your breathing, noticing its rhythm and flow, and how it feels when you inhale and exhale
Body scan
Focus on different parts of your body, noticing any physical sensations or tension without judgment
Paying attention to your environment
Use all of your senses to experience your environment, including touch, sound, sight, smell, and taste.
Scientific Spark
A "scientific spark" refers to a moment of inspiration, excitement, or a new idea that ignites a scientist's curiosity and drives them to pursue further research or investigation In scientific spark students do various takeaways related with the topic of the month. They themselves do the assembling of the takeaways and convert the raw things into finished product eg. They make camera by using the things given when they learn about camera. In the concept of teaching students develop their thinking power, curiosity , eye-hand coordination, peer working etc.
WoW words
A "wow word" is a more descriptive, interesting, and exciting word that goes beyond basic vocabulary, used to help children expand their language skills and express themselves more vividly. ''Wow words" are introduced to help children expand their vocabulary by exposing them to more descriptive and interesting language, which allows them to express themselves more effectively.
Spaced learning
Spaced learning is a learning technique that involves repeating information over time. It's based on the idea that repeated information helps student to learn and retain it. Uses of spaced learning Spaced learning can help people overcome the forgetting curve. It can help people connect information to the real world. It can help people reduce mental exhaustion.
Sustainable development
Sustainable development means teaching young children basic concepts about caring for the environment and using resources wisely. So here in our Cis toddlers our champs learn how to care our nature , environment, safety measures by doing skits and mono acts. By doing this our Champs will learn about the understanding of care emotions bonding with each other.
